Russia's deputy overseas minister acknowledged Wednesday that detained US reporter Evan Gershkovich experienced not been granted consular entry, two months following his arrest.
The Wall Road Journal journalist was arrested in Russia on promises of espionage, which he denies.

The US Condition Section has explained it has sought consular entry to Gershkovich given that understanding of his arrest.
"The query (of consular entry) is below critique," the deputy overseas minister, Sergei Ryabkov, was cited as indicating by point out-operate organizations.
