By 2:00 pm (1300 GMT), the pc process in issue was doing work once more, the inside ministry explained to AFP.
A girl travelling from Martinique explained to AFP she experienced put in almost two hrs in the queue at Orly the place "1,five hundred-2,000 persons" had been not shifting at all.
"It can be shameful, persons are beginning (to wilt), in particular moms and dads with little ones. No just one from Paris Airports arrived to inform us nearly anything," Anouk, who declined to give their surname, explained to AFP by phone.
Travellers then started banging on the glass doorways of the eGates, they afterwards described.
Border law enforcement officers then opened them and carried out passport checks manually to relieve congestion.
