A Republican political guide was sentenced to eighteen months in jail for funneling income from a Russian nationwide to a presidential marketing campaign in 2016.
Jesse Benton, a Texas guy who has labored for distinguished GOP legislators and has a background of marketing campaign finance crimes, was sentenced on Friday, in accordance to the Section of Justice. Benton was associated in a plan that provided one more guide and a Russian nationwide who needed to “meet and get a photograph with the presidential prospect.”
