American rapper-songwriter Kanye West's honorary doctorate from the College of the Artwork Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has been rescinded by the establishment, a report explained.
In accordance to The Hollywood Reporter, SAIC officers explained, "The College of the Artwork Institute of Chicago condemns and repudiates Kanye West's (now acknowledged as Ye) anti-Black, anti-Semitic, racist, and hazardous statements, especially people directed at Black and Jewish communities."
