A LATAM Airways aircraft getting off from Lima's intercontinental airport struck a firetruck on the runway and caught hearth Friday. Authorities mentioned the plane's travellers and crew ended up all protected, but two firefighters in the truck ended up killed.
Lima Airport Associates, the firm that operates Jorge Chávez airport, mentioned in a tweet that functions at the facility experienced been suspended. There ended up 102 travellers and 6 crew customers aboard the Airbus A320neo.
“Our groups are offering the required treatment to all travellers, who are in very good situation,” the firm mentioned.
