China lashed out at a US senate report that claimed that Covid 1st appeared at a lab in the town of Wuhan, declaring it was pushed by politics in the US.
“US politicians are rehashing the lab-leak idea to smear China in disregard of details,” International Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian claimed on Monday.
“Such functions are pushed by sick-intentions. This will only hamper science-dependent origins tracing and undermine intercontinental anti-Covid cooperation," Zhao Lijian extra.
China has “made it obvious on numerous events that the lab-leak idea from Wuhan is nothing at all but a lie fabricated by anti-China forces for political reasons and it has nothing at all to do with science,” he claimed.
